Increased collaboration is a perk of students, faculty and staff all being in the same Office 365 environment.
To modify a calendar's permissions level, follow these steps:
Outlook 365 on a Computer
Click the calendar icon in the navigation pane.
Click the "Share Calendar" at the top of the calendar screen.
In the drop-down, select the calendar for the email address that you want to modify.
On a Mac, it may look like this:-
Click the Permissions tab and click on the "My Organization" name. This will control the calendar's default availability to all members with a stjohns.edu email address.
If you would like to give special permissions to specific people, click the "Add" button, and whatever settings are chosen will override the default permissions level.None: No one will be able to view any details of the calendar's availability
Can view when I'm busy: Only able to see when the calendar has available time slots.
Can view titles and locations: Can v available time slots, as well as the title and location of blocked time slots.
Can view all details: Able to see the details inside each blocked time slot
Can edit: Able to manage all aspects of the calendar's appointments
On a Mac these settings will look like this: Click OK to save your changes.
Outlook on the Web

Click the calendar icon in the navigation pane.
Click on the "Share" link on the upper right side and Select the calendar you want to modify.
In Sharing and Permissions:.

Next to “People in my organization”, choose from the following settings:
Select “Not Shared” to not share any information, or click “Can view when I’m busy” for others to see times you are available. This does not allow viewers to see meeting details, only availability.
- If you would like to add someone to have special permissions, enter the email address of the person at the top of the box, choose the settings you wish to designate, and then click "Share."
Your changes will automatically be saved when you close the window.
