Employees are asked to use secure print mode when printing documents with confidential information. Secure print sends the print job to the printer but does not immediately print it.
If a print job is sent as a secure print, you will need to go to the printer to release the job.
Setting up Secure Print for HP Printer
While printing form the file select the printer you are looking to print to.
Select Printer Properties
Navigate to “Job Storage”
Select “Personal Job”
Select “ Pin to print”, and enter 4 digit pin.
Select “OK”
You are now setup to secure print. When printing all documents to the selected printer, you will need to enter your pin at the printer.
Print by Secure Print mode on HP Printer
Once a file has been sent to a printer using secure print mode, head to that printer. From the printer’s menu, select “Print for Job Storage”
Select your name
Select “Unlock private Jobs”
Enter the Pin you created.
Select “OK”
Select the file you would like to print.
Click Print.
Setting up Secure Print for Xerox Printer
While printing form the file select the printer you are looking to print to.

Select Printer Properties

For Job Type Select: Secure Print

You will see a pop up that will require you to enter in a passcode. This will be the coded needed to release the file at the printer.
Select OK once you enter in the passcode.
Print as normal
You are now setup to secure print. When printing all documents to the selected printer, you will need to enter your pin at the printer.
Printing by Secure Print mode on Xerox Printer

Once a file has been sent to a printer using secure print mode, head to that printer. From the printer’s menu, select “ Jobs”

Select your name/ file

Enter Code you created
