1. Log in to Connect
There are several ways to log in to the Connect app.
This can be done by downloading the St. John’s U Connect mobile App or visiting https://connect.stjohns.edu - (See: How do I log in to Connect?)
or by logging in to the Sign-On Portal and clicking “Connect.”

2. In Connect, locate the Widget labeled “New UIS Experience.”
(**If you do not see this widget on your dashboard, please click on the button at the top that says “Find New Widgets.” )

Locate the Academic Requests card and click on Pass / Fail.
If the screen pops up below, please click LOG IN WITH SAML button.
Select the course you would like to Pass/Fail and enter a reason. Click > Submit Request. The request will go to the Dean’s office for review. (Note: You are only allowed 1 Pass/Fail request per term and available for Undergrad students with Sophomore status or higher).
You can only cancel your request if the status is in progress. Once your request has been approved, you cannot cancel it. Select Yes or No to cancel and then Click > Close Screen.
