Open Webex Control Hub
On the left hand side of Control Hub, select > Users:
Type the user’s email address within the field:
Select > the account:
Next, scroll down and select > edit license:
A new window will open. Select > Edit Licenses in the lower right corner of the window:
For Messaging, select > Basic Messaging:
Next, click > Meeting:
Scroll down, within “sju.webex.com” click on Host Account (by default, both Basic Meetings and Webex Meetings Suite become selected. You will deslect Basic Meetings so it appears bellow):
On the lower right hand corner, click > Save:
This will not necessarily enable Webex Webinars on the user’s account, so a second change will have to be made after assigning Webex Meetings Suite license:
While looking at the user’s account in Webex Admin, go to the Meetings tab.
Change the drop-down “Settings apply to” to sju.webex.com (Host).
Under Session Types, ensure that Webex Events (Classic) is toggled on, then click Save in the lower right hand corner.
