1. Log in to Connect

There are several ways to log in to the Connect app.


2. In Connect, locate the Widget labeled “New UIS Experience.”

(**If you do not see this widget on your dashboard, please click on the button at the top that says “Find New Widgets.” )

(If you do not see the card, you can add it through discovery by clicking on the blue “Discover More” button at the bottom of the page.  )



Locate the Workflow card and click > Workflow.



If the screen pops up below, please click > LOG IN WITH SAML button.



Click > Tasks at the top of the menu.



Navigate to the menu on the left side and click > Self Service icon.



There are 2 ways you can open the task:

  • Click on the blue link from email.

  • Click on Task title or Options on the right side and Open Task.



Click > CLAIM TASK button to assign the task to yourself.


If you claim the task (workflow) in error or accidentally, you can release your assignment to the workflow by following these steps. Note: Need a specific user to reassign the workflow to.

Click > the Reassign button on the right side


Select > User to reassign the task and click > REASSIGN button


Click > the blue link at the bottom of the email to open the task.

Review the Internal Transfer request and enter a decision and comments. Comments will be sent to the student and saved in SPACMNT.

  • Approve

  • Deny

  • See Dean

  • Hold for Grades


Click > SUBMIT REQUEST button.

If the Internal Transfer request is approved, the workflow will be sent to the Registrar’s Office to process.

If Deny is selected, then the student will receive an email with your comments.

If See Dean or Hold for Grades is selected, then an email will be sent to the student to follow-up along with comments. Note: Once you meet with the student or grades have been posted, you will need to re-open the workflow to approve/deny the decision.
