St. John’s University provides wireless internet access to all active Students, Faculty, and Employees. This guide provides instructions on how to connect to campus WI-FI. The secured wireless network is called SJUMobile and the following information will be required to connect:
NEW ChromeBook Devices require specific configurations in order to properly connect, due to the OS's security settings.

SJUMobile Campus Wi-Fi (Please update your device to the latest OS before connecting to SJUMobile)
To set up a connection, please follow the instructions below for your device.
Same credentials used to login at https://signon.stjohns.edu

Android
To connect to SJUMobile on your Android device please follow the instructions below:
Please Note: Every phone is different, so your screen may look different.
Go to Settings
Go to the Connections/Wi-Fi section.
Make sure your "WiFi" is listed as being ON.
Once you get to your Wi-Fi section click on SJUMobile
Once SJUMobile is selected you may be prompt to enter your "Identity" which is your email address, then enter your password in the Enter Password field.
You are basically entering the same credentials used to log into https://signon.stjohns.edu.
Be careful and do NOT enter your password under the Anonymous Identity field.
** If you are prompted for the "CA Certificate" select "Do not Validate" or "None" then Connect. As long as the "Identity" and "Password" are correct you will be connected to SJUMobile after clicking "Connect".
Be careful with the password because too many invalid attempts will lock you out for up to 30 minutes.
When credentials are authenticated, it will connect.
iOS (for iPad, iPhone, & iPod)
Select Settings
Select Wi-Fi
Make sure the Wi-Fi is turned on. If it is off, tap on it to turn on your wifi
Select SJUMobile
Enter the assigned SJU Username and Password, and click Connect.
Google Pixel
From your phone, click -> Settings.
- Select -> Network & Internet
- Select -> Internet
Select -> SJU Mobile
Enter Mobile Network Authentication information as listed below:
NOTE: enter your Student Login information (email & password)
Apple OSX (OS 10.10 & Higher )
Click the Wifi icon in the top bar on the right side
Select “SJUMobile” from the available networks.
A prompt will appear asking you to enter Enterprise Credentials. Enter your Sign-On Portal credentials. Click "Join".
A prompt will appear asking to accept the authentication certificate. Click CONTINUE.
Depending on the security settings, a prompt will also appear for the computer username and password to confirm the Certificate Trust Settings. Click UPDATE SETTINGS, after the log-in information is entered.
Once it is accepted, the network connection should be working. Please verify by clicking on the Wi-Fi icon at the top of your screen. You should see a checkmark next to SJUMobile.
Windows
From your desktop, click the Wi-Fi signal located on the bottom right corner of the screen.
Select SJUMobile -> Connect
Enter Username and Password ->Connect
