The vendor of the appliance used by the University for SJUGuest WiFi authentication has advised that they will be updating the RADIUS certificate on that appliance between 11:00 PM EDT on Sunday, September 27th, and 3:00 AM EDT on Monday, September 28, 2026.
The vendor of the appliance used by the University for SJUGuest WiFi authentication has advised that they will be updating the RADIUS certificate on that appliance between 11:00 PM EDT on Sunday, September 27th, and 3:00 AM EDT on Monday, September 28, 2026.
After the push, most devices (Windows, MacOSX, and Android) should automatically trust the renewed certificate, and users of these devices should not notice any change has occurred.
Due to constraints in Apple’s iOS, end-users with iOS devices will need to manually trust the updated certificate again, similar to the first time they connected to the network.
Affected end-users will see the certificate for portal.myweblogon.com when they first attempt to connect to the SSID. Once they choose to trust the certificate, they should not be prompted again.
